• Pre-budget consultation at Corner Brook city hall Monday evening, come have a say in how taxes are spent

  Council and staff will then meet to discuss the 2026 budget from November 25th-27th.

• Upwards of 140 registered for the Atlantic Women in Law Enforcement Conference in the capital city

  Corner Brook Pulp and Paper is celebrating a 100th anniversary this year and Mayor Linda Chaisson says the mill is the centre of this city. 

• No support for budget from Long Range Mountains MP Carol Anstey

  Anstey says the interest on debt alone is more than what provinces are getting for health care, people are struggling to make ends meet and this is driving up costs for Canadians at the end of the  day.
