Teen rescued from Steady Brook Falls last night

    Various agencies were on scene to assist with the rescue.

    RCMP say a 17 year-old female was taken to hospital in Corner Brook to be treated for injuries while swimming at Steady Brook Falls. Police got the call shortly before 8:30 pm on Sunday. Bay of Islands Search and Rescue, Steady-Brook Little Rapids Fire Department, and Western Health paramedics responded to the call and transported the teen to hospital with minor injuries.
