Updated: T.C.H. at standstill on Gallants Hill

    RCMP issued the advisory just after 10:30 p.m. Monday.

    Update: the highway is now open in both directions
     

    Traffic on the Trans-Canada Highway is at a standstill this evening due to a jackknifed tractor trailer on Gallants Hill, located near Route 402 - Gallants Highway.

    RCMP say traffic is blocked in both directions as crews work to clear the truck. Motorists should expect delays.

    The advisory was issued just after 10:30 p.m. on Monday.
