Stephenville Mayor Tom Rose says he’s also been waiting for the day to come so taxpayers are no longer being billed for the bankrupt facility. He says it’s an epic time for this announcement with a projected hydrogen project. The Mayor says tax dollars used to keep the airport open in the past, can now be used in other ways.
