A teacher in Stephenville Crossing is one of three in the province to receive a National Award. Thomas Ayre teaches Grade 4 at St. Michael’s Elementary School in Stephenville Crossing. He is one of the three teachers being recognized with the Prime Minister’s Award for Teaching Excellence and Excellence in Early Childhood Education. Ayre has used stop-motion videography and 3D printing to help students work in groups, tell stories and create new projects.
