    Starting tomorrow (April 1st), the Respiratory Syncytial (sin-city-uhl)  Virus (RSV) vaccine will be available to adults aged 60 years and older residing in long-term care or personal care homes throughout the province. RSV typically causes upper respiratory infections that include a runny nose and cough. However, in high-risk populations, RSV can progress to more serious complications such as pneumonia, which may require hospital admission. For more information on the RSV vaccine, residents can contact their local public health nursing office
