Government is making it mandatory for K-12 students to register to take the bus. While all students in NL are eligible to ride a school bus, registration was never a requirement. No student will lose a seat through this process and families will no longer spend the first weeks of school waiting for route confirmation or making last‑minute arrangements. With this new approach, bus routes and capacity can be better planned.
