Rural Economic Development Minister Gudie Hutchings announces money for tourism

    Among those to receive a share in the funding include Western NL DMO Inc., Corner Brook Stream Development Corporation, Town of Humber Arm South, town of Cow Head, and the Corner Brook Port Corporation.

    Rural Economic Development and ACOA Minister Gudie Hutchings has announced over $624,000 for 6 tourism opportunities in Western Newfoundland. The funding is intended to help tourism operators expand and build up community infrastructure to ensure Western Newfoundland can attract more visitors, and deliver enhanced, accessible experiences for everyone to enjoy. Hutchings says “Western Newfoundland’s breathtaking landscape and vibrant communities hold the key to a wealth of untapped tourism opportunities.” Hutchings says “From its rugged beauty to the warmth of our local hospitality, we want the world to discover what makes Newfoundland’s west coast an unforgettable destination..” Among those to receive a share in the funding include Western NL DMO Inc., Corner Brook Stream Development Corporation, Town of Humber Arm South, and Corner Brook Port Corporation.
