Newfoundland Power crews were busy this weekend after high winds swept over the southwest coast. About 200 customers in Pinchgut Lake, Gallants and Spruce Brook were also affected.
There was another outage affecting Howley that started just after 8:00 a.m. Sunday, and in the afternoon, crews were called to Fox Island Sunday to repair a pole that was down.
In an unrelated event, over 500 customers in Pasadena also lost power late Saturday night following a reported vehicle collision with a pole.
