There’s been another moose poaching incident on the west coast. Officers responded to a complaint from the public about a dead bull moose approximately six kilometres in the Black Duck Siding Resource Road. The moose had been shot and left, and likely killed during the period from September 14-16th. Last week, a moose was poached in the St. Davids area, The Resource Enforcement Division of the Department of Fisheries, Forestry and Agriculture is asking anyone who may have additional information about this incident or witnessed suspicious activity in the area to contact the Stephenville Detachment, at 709-643-3143.
