Summer isn’t over until the town of Irishtown Summerside says it is. The third annual So Long to Summer festival gets underway tomorrow. Deputy Mayor Shannon Morgan says this year will be a little different. He says the Recreation Committee has managed to put together a free event for families during the day time with 13 games, photo ops, petting zoo, bouncy castles, face painting, cotton candy and a dunk tank. Morgan says there will also be musical entertainment during the day. Gates open for 19+ event at 5:30, and Morgan says they have quite the line-up of musicians. There will be free bus service for those who live on the north shore of the Bay of Islands tomorrow.
