Rocky Harbour RCMP arrested two drivers in the span of two days for impaired operation. On Monday (January 6, 2025) at 11:30 a.m., police on patrol in Parsons Pond pulled a vehicle over for speeding. The 22-year-old man tested positive for cannabis and was taken to hospital for blood samples. The next morning around 8:30, police stopped a driver on Route 430 in Rocky Harbour. The 55 year old man failed a roadside breath test, his license was suspended, and his vehicle was impounded.
