The work is expected to be completed by October 31st.
Anyone travelling through Gros Morne National Park is advised construction work is set to begin tomorrow. Parks Canada says paving work is taking place on Route 431 on the Trout River Gulch. The construction work runs between the communities of Woody Point and Trout River on the south side of the park. There will also be a reconfiguration of the parking lot used by visitors to access the Tablelands Trail. Motorists can expect slow downs and a one-lane closure west of Dry Brook. The work is expected to be completed by October 31st. Meanwhile, construction work is underway at L’Anse aux Meadows. Motorists are advised to travel with caution, obey all signage and posted speed limits, and follow instructions from flag persons.
