RNC warn be wary of online social media profiles

    Cst. James Cadigan says everyone should be wary about speaking with people online that you do not know personally.

    RNC are asking parents to speak to their children about the dangers of social media. Markus Hicks of Paradise is facing 50 charges related to sexual violence on the Northeast Avalon. On August 23rd, received information related to the use of fictitious identities, social media applications, and concealment to arrange sexual acts. Cst James Cadigan says Hicks was charged with more offences on Monday as  result of an ongoing investigation. Cadigan says everyone should be wary about speaking with people online that you do not know personally. Always report suspicious activity and people to the RNC.
