RNC respond to an accident in Bartlett's Point Park, there were no injuries

    Police say the driver had lost control of the vehicle resulting in the vehicle overturning.

    Corner Brook RNC were called out to a motor vehicle collision shortly before 7:30 a.m.  yesterday in Bartlett’s Point Park. There were no injuries. Police say the driver had lost control of the vehicle resulting in the vehicle overturning. The male driver was charged under the Highway Traffic Act for Operating a Motor Vehicle without a valid Driver’s License. 

    Then, at 4:15 p.m., police conducted a Traffic Safety Stop in the area of Mount Bernard Avenue. A 63 year old man male was charged for driving without a valid insurance policy, the vehicle was seized. 

    Shortly after 12:30 this morning, police received a report of a possible impaired driver in the Humber Road area. The vehicle was located and a 46 year old man was charged with impaired driving, received a driving suspension and the vehicle was seized. The accused was released from custody to appear in Provincial Court at a later date.
