    RNC looking for information after a woman was choked by a man in Lark Harbour

    The woman received non-life threatening physical injuries and the man was known to her.

    Corner Brook RNC are looking for information after a woman was assaulted and choked by a man in Lark Harbour.  Cst James Cadigan says police were called to the Bay of Islands community shortly after 9 a.m on Friday. The woman received non-life threatening physical injuries and the man was known to her. He had left the property by the time police arrived. Cadigan says the 42-year-old man was arrested nearby and has been charged with assault causing bodily harm and choking. RNC are looking for video footage and information asking people to call 709-637-4100. As well, tipsters can always remain anonymous by contacting Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS)
