The RNC is asking parents throughout the province to speak to their kids about the dangers of social media. An investigation started in August after police received information related to the use of fictitious identities to arrange sexual acts with youth. To date, the RNC has laid 63 sexual violence related charges against 32-year-old Markus HICKS of Paradise in connection. Yesterday, police announced three accounts including Maria Winchester, Brittany Campbell and Bradol15 which were used by Hicks. Cst James Cadigan says the time is right to talk to your children about the risks of sharing information. He says children need to be coached on social media.
