Ride sharing becomes topic of discussion at City Council meeting

    The subject of ride sharing came up during last week’s public meeting at Corner Brook city hall.

    The subject of ride sharing came up during last week’s public meeting at Corner Brook city hall. Councillor Pamela Gill asked about ride sharing and if the city has received any applications. Director Todd Flynn says one company wants to set something up similar to a taxi service.Last month, the city issued 27 Taxi driver permits and 12 Taxi vehicle permits.
