Director Todd Flynn says one company wants to set something up similar to a taxi service.Last month, the city issued 27 Taxi driver permits and 12 Taxi vehicle permits.

The Bay of Islands Volunteer Search and Rescue was called in to help around 10:20 yesterday morning and about 20 members of the team showed up.

The driver, a 37-year-old man, and his passenger, a 29-year-old woman, were each charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking in cocaine and possession of property obtained by crime.
