It’s time to start thinking about taking those studded winter tires off. The Department of Digital Government and Service NL is reminding motorists that the last day to have studded tires removed from their vehicles is Wednesday, April 30th. Under the Highway Traffic Act, studded tires may only be used between November 1 and April 30. The Minister does have the authority to extend the deadline in cases of inclement weather.
