RCMP Traffic Services West says be prepared for winter driving

    Cst Derek Hayden says it’s a good idea to turn on your headlights in the morning and late in the afternoon.

    It’s a sure sign that winter is on the way, the white stuff has arrived and the air is chilly.  Wednesday was the first day for studded winter tires in the province. RCMP Traffic Services West is asking motorists to take it easy on the roads. Cst Derek Hayden says it’s a good idea to turn on your headlights in the morning and late in the afternoon. Snow always means slow.
