All three male drivers were also handed tickets under the Highway Traffic Act.

Three drivers have lost their vehicles and now have tickets to pay after being stopped by RCMP Traffic Services West this week. On Tuesday, just before noon, a 48-year-old male driver from Robinson’s was stopped in St.Fintan’s. He was driving with a suspended license.

About an hour later, the same police officer pulled over a vehicle driving at excessive speeds on Main Road in McKay’s. The 30-year-old man was driving under a suspended license.

Just after 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, yesterday afternoon, RCMP stopped a vehicle with expired registration in Stephenville Crossing. The driver, a 33-year-old Kippens man, could not provide proof of a valid insurance policy.
