Ending these reserves will return a significant amount of Crown lands for other potential uses.

Due to the lack of progress and non-payment of Crown lands reserve fees, land reserves for World Energy GH2 in the Bay St. George area will not be extended beyond the end of this month. This also applies to two other companies with interests elsewhere in the province (EverWind NL Company and Toqlukuti’k Wind and Hydrogen Ltd. ) Ending these reserves will return a significant amount of Crown lands for other potential uses.  Government will now begin collection efforts on amounts owing.
