Missing man last seen in the Bonne Bay area has been located

     Deer Lake RCMP thanks the public for their assistance.

    UPDATE (May 28): The 61-year-old man reported missing earlier today has been located safe. Deer Lake RCMP thanks the public for their assistance.

    RCMP are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing Deer Lake man. Police say 61-year-old Elvis Lavallee was last seen around 4 p.m. yesterday at White Hills Road and leaving the Bonne Bay Pond area on a blue and black Polaris Ranger side-by-side. At the time, he was wearing a blue and grey t-shirt, grey windbreaker pants and beige running shoes.

    Lavallee is 5’5 and approximately 225 lbs with short grey hair and blue eyes. Police and his family are concerned for his well-being.

    Anyone with information on the current location of Elvis Lavallee is asked to call Deer Lake RCMP at 709-635-2173.
