Police say Murley Tucker of Bunyan's Cove was found in possession of more than $82,000 cash, more than 23 cases of contraband tobacco and three unsafely stored long guns.
A 44-year-old man from Bunyan’s Cove is facing a long list of charges after a search of his home. Following a traffic stop and the execution of a search warrant by RCMP NL, Murley Tucker was found in possession of more than $82,000 cash, more than 23 cases of contraband tobacco and three unsafely stored long guns. RCMP Cpl Jolene Garland says police officers from the west coast were also involved in the investigation, including RCMP officers and the RCMP-RNC JFO west team conducted the traffic stop in Botwood. Elsewhere, a 39-year-old man and a 36-year-old man were arrested on Wednesday in Clarenville. Police found more than 250 grams of cocaine, 30 grams of methamphetamine,a replica handgun, and over $11,000 in cash.
