RCMP find remains of missing man in the debris of a fire at the Deer Lake Driftwood Inn

    RCMP did report a missing 77 year old man named Eugene Earl Spoon from Kansas who was in the area on a hunting trip and had been a guest at the Inn.

    Human remains of a man have been found in Deer Lake. Remains were found this morning at the scene of a weekend fire at the Driftwood Inn. The fire broke out early in the morning on Saturday, October 19th. RCMP did report a missing 77 year old man named Eugene Earl Spoon from Kansas who was in the area on a hunting trip and had been a guest at the Inn. The investigation into the fire is continuing.
