    Raise the Roof Festival this weekend

    Raise the Roof Festival coming up in Port au Port

    The Raise the Roof Festival is coming up this weekend in Port au Port. The event will take place at Our Lady of Event Hall and runs throughout Friday and Saturday August 23 & 24 with  proceeds going to support Our Lady of Mercy Restoration. Next year will be the 100th Annivesary of Our Lady of Mercy Church. The Restoration committee recently won $50 OOO in a national competition to help restore the church and committee member Joanne Rose told Bay Fm the money is being put to good use.

    The musical line-up includes Tammy Dutcher, Lovely Bones,Johnson & Hynes and Donavon Conran and Smugger's Cove. Tickets are on sale now.
