Qalipu First Nation and Academy Canada to sign a Memorandum of Understanding tomorrow

    Qalipu First Nation and Academy Canada will sign a Memorandum of Understanding tomorrow at the Corner Brook Campus. Qalipu Chief Jenny Brake and Academy Canada President Lisa Lovelady will formalize a partnership at 10 a.m. The agreement focuses on educational pathways, capacity building, and collaborations that support sustainable community and business development. Grounded in mutual respect, this MOU also reflects a shared commitment to Indigenous learners, stronger communities, and opportunities for future growth.
