Stephenville-Port au Port MHA Tony Wakeham wants to hear from people in the Corner Brook region this evening. A public meet and greet is taking place at the Glynmill Inn starting 7pm. Wakeham’s name will also be on the ballot when the PC’s have an election to find a new party leader. He says he wants to hear about the challenges people face. Wakeham says it’s always the same discussion wherever he goes, the high cost of living and access to health care. He says he’s “cautiously optimistic” about the prospect of wind development in the Stephenville-Port au Port area.
