Premier to speak at the national search and rescue conference and expo tomorrow

    SAR professionals, including air, ground, and marine, gather to learn about the newest technology or equipment, and share ideas and experiences.

    The largest national search and rescue (SAR) conference and expo is taking place in the capital city. SAR professionals, including air, ground, and marine, gather to learn about the newest technology or equipment, and share ideas and experiences.  Premier Andrew Furey will speak at the opening ceremony of SARscene tomorrow. He will be joined by Labrador and Indigenous Minister Lisa Dempster, and Justice Minister John Hogan. This year’s event is hosted by the Newfoundland and Labrador Search and Rescue Association.
