    Premier set to announce a poverty reduction plan today

    The event will be livestreamed on the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador’s Facebook account.

    Premier Andrew Furey will announce a new poverty reduction plan this afternoon. The announcement will take place in St. John’s at 2:00 p.m. He will be joined by Paul Pike, Minister of Children, Seniors and Social Development, as well as Danielle Seward, Executive Director of the Single Parent Association of Newfoundland and Labrador, and Laura Winters, Chief Executive Officer of Stella’s Circle. The event will be livestreamed on the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador’s Facebook account.
