Police say 51-year-old Todd Boland fled the facility on foot around 9:40 this morning.
The RNC have arrested escaped inmate Todd Boland. Police say Boland escaped from Her Majesty’s Penitentiary around 9:40 this morning. He was located by RNC officers and placed under arrest at approximately 11:35 a.m. in the area of Signal Hill in St. John’s.

An inmate has escaped from Her Majesty’s Penitentiary in St. John’s and the RNC is searching for him. Police say 51-year-old Todd Boland fled the facility on foot around 9:40 this morning. Boland is 6’2” tall, with a slender build, and was wearing a blue sweatshirt and pants. The RNC is advising the public to not approach Boland. Any sightings should be reported to the RNC immediately.
