RCMP and RNC will be out on roadways in force this weekend

It’s not only Friday but the kick off to what’s typically known as the May 2-4 weekend, the first long weekend of the summer. Campers, boats and off road vehicles on trailers, and lots of traffic will be on the highways. RCMP Corporal Jolene Garland says police will also be out making sure our roads are safe. She says off road riders also need to keep safety in mind and wear a helmet or seatbelt. RNC and RCMP will be out taking part in Canada Road Safety Week during the weekend.
