Police find a handgun, cocaine, cash and more after a stabbing in the capital city

    Police also searched a downtown apartment complex and found multiple pellet guns, ammunition, pieces of body armour, 24 percocet pills, and other drug trafficking materials.

    39-year-old Stephen Clowe of St. John’s is facing charges in connection with assault, drug trafficking and firearms offences after a stabbing in the capital city. RNC say at approximately 6:40 p.m. on Sunday (September 1) they responded to a report of an injured man and the 36-year-old man was taken to hospital where he was treated and released. Shortly after 9 p.m., police located the 39 year old man believed to be responsible for the assault near an apartment complex in the downtown area. Police found a handgun, multiple bags of cocaine, totaling 619.50 grams, $6,640.50 in Canadian currency and other drug trafficking materials. Police also searched a downtown apartment complex and found multiple pellet guns, ammunition, pieces of body armour, 24 percocet pills, and other drug trafficking materials.
