RCMP Traffic Services West stopped a driver doing 164 km/hr in a 100 km/hr zone on Monday. Police say the 33-year-old man was stopped for excessive speeding by Traffic Services West on the Trans Canada Highway near Hampden Junction. The driver’s speed was locked in at 159 km/hr. He received a ticket for speeding, his license was suspended, and his vehicle was impounded.
