Plans to build a home next to the Humber River are being environmentally assessed

    Construction would include installation of a sewer system and well and landscaping.

    A plan to build a one-story dwelling adjacent to a scheduled salmon river is going through the provincial environmental assessment process. The proponent registered the undertaking on April 4th. It is located in Little Rapids on Marble Drive, on a residential lot located at 403C Marble Drive in the community of Little Rapids next to the Humber River.  Construction would include installation of a sewer system and well and landscaping. A description of the project can be found at gov.nl.ca. The deadline for public comment is May 9th and the minister’s decision is due by May 19th.
