Airport CEO Tammy Priddle says this will provide great connections to Calgary, Vancouver and Edmonton, and tap into their growing network into the U.S and internationally.
Excitement is brewing at the Deer Lake Regional Airport as Porter is set to launch a new 5 days a week service to Ottawa starting June 11th. Airport CEO Tammy Priddle says this will provide great connections to Calgary, Vancouver and Edmonton, and tap into their growing network into the U.S and internationally.
She says the Toronto service will also be returning next month. Priddle says passengers will get to experience Porter’s new jets and in-cabin service with no middle seats, free wine and beer, premium snacks and free wi-fi. She says it’s early but passenger numbers at the airport are up so far.
Priddle says the terminal gets quite congested during peak season which is why they are working on a $30M project which will expand the terminal by 2000 square metres. Construction is expected to start next spring.
