Spokesperson Alison Coffin says the next step is for the Board of Regents of MUN to ratify the agreement in kind and she doesn’t expect any further delays.
After four years without one, the Lecturers Union of Memorial University or LUMUN have a new collective agreement. These per course instructors at Grenfell Campus and MUN voted overwhelmingly in favor of the tentative deal that was recently reached with officials. Spokesperson Alison Coffin says the next step is for the Board of Regents of MUN to ratify the agreement in kind and she doesn’t expect any further delays. Coffin says there is still work to be done. LUMUN represents 253 part time instructors.
