Dinn says "Children cannot afford to wait, many of these issues should have been addressed long ago.”

The Opposition’s  Shadow Education Minister Paul Dinn is speaking on what he says is government’s failure to provide a safe and supportive K-12 education system. After reviewing the NLTA 2025 Pre-Budget Submission, Dinn noted the submission is yet another call to address issues in the classroom. It outlines familiar concerns such as large class sizes, lack of supports and resources, increased violence, and greater complexities in the classrooms. Dinn says “There has been report upon report which continue to pile up without substantial action. We have been told not to worry because the Education Accord will solve many issues. Children cannot afford to wait, many of these issues should have been addressed long ago.”
