Paul Dinn says members of the board are expected to act with integrity, respect, and in a manner of trust and confidentiality.

Shadow Education Minister Paul Dinn is calling for the removal of the current Chair of the Board of Regents at Memorial University. This call comes after media reports confirmed that the Chair of the Board of Regents breached Ms. Becky Winsor's privacy by forwarding a pro-Palestinian email she had sent him to her father. The email stated, "I am telling parents that I know just what their kids are doing, they need to grow up." Dinn says members of the board are expected to act with integrity, respect, and in a manner of trust and confidentiality. Dinn also pointed out that the current Chair of the Board of Regents is leading a new Presidential Search Committee, which has recently spent $75,000 on another private executive search firm. He says people are still waiting for MUN to correct past mistakes with overspending and reinstating the Ode to Newfoundland. Dinn is urging Minister of Education Krista Lynn Howell to address the situation and take decisive action.
