One person commented saying “his dog Thor, will be so heartbroken, he so enjoyed his runs up there! But in saying that once the snow melts in the spring it’s not hard to tell why all of us are banned!”

A post generated on the Blomidon Golf Club Facebook page yesterday is generating a lot of public comments. It simply states, “ Effective immediately, dog walking is prohibited at Blomidon Golf Club. Thank you for your cooperation.” One person commented saying “his dog Thor, will be so heartbroken, he so enjoyed his runs up there! But in saying that once the snow melts in the spring it’s not hard to tell why all of us are banned!” Another person said, “In my opinion, it’s a golf course not a dog course or park, I don’t blame them for banning. Golfers pay a lot of money for members' fees to golf the course; they shouldn’t have to worry about doggy doo.” A third comment said, “So disappointing for those of us who actually pick up after our dogs and are very courteous.” Bayfm News has reached out to Blomidon Golf Club for a comment.
