Ice along the gulf is making it dangerous for the Navigator
For the second time this month, cruise visits to the port of Corner Brook have been canceled. The Seven Seas Navigator was due in port today but changed their minds, and also canceled a visit on May 16th. Corner Brook Port Corporation CEO Jackie Chow says ice flow charts from off western NL are showing a lot of ice in the area. She says the cruise line is being cautious and have canceled this months’ visits as a result. The Navigator is due to be in port on June 7th with nearly 500 passengers and over 300 crew.
