    NL Summer Games 2026

    Opening ceremonies will be August 8th.

    Excitement is brewing for the NL Summer Games, which is coming back to where it all started, here in Corner Brook in lass than two weeks time. Opening ceremonies will be August 8th and Steve Perchard says the committee really wanted to make it a celebration of Corner Brook talent, showcasing the arts Community here ,and there are some great performers lined up to play during the opening including The Once and Sherman Downey and the MC will be Corner Brook's own Trent McClellan. Meanwhile the committee's Kara Pye broke down a lot of the sports event that will be happening during the games.
