8 new affordable rental units to be built in Stephenville

    Tri-Sun Realty Limited is building 8 units in the community.

    Government announced funding yesterday for 33 new affordable rental housing projects at a total cost of $31 million. Among the list of communities sharing in this round of funding is the town of Stephenville. Tri-Sun Realty Limited is building 8 units in the community. The Minister responsible for Housing, Joedy Wall, says some proposals could not be approved under the program and should resubmit. The money will lead to the construction of up to 344 new homes.
