Tri-Sun Realty Limited is building 8 units in the community and Pollard Properties Limited is building 10.

Government announced funding yesterday for 33 new affordable rental housing projects at a total cost of $31 million. Among the list of communities sharing in this round of funding is the town of Stephenville. Tri-Sun Realty Limited is building 8 units in the community and Pollard Properties Limited is building 10. The Minister responsible for Housing, Joedy Wall, says "there were other projects that we could not approve at this stage, as they were not able to show that they could move forward with the required timeframe. And to those developers, I say keep developing your project, please, those proposals could become funded when you are better positioned for that to be successful."
