NL government invests $350K in the 2025 General Municipal Election this October

    Funding will be used to create a public awareness campaign, develop an election tool kit for interested communities and offer voluntary training for municipal election officials. 

    People in municipalities across the province will be heading to the polls in October to select their local councils. As well, for the first time, it will include local service districts on October 2nd, 2025. This year the Provincial Government is investing $350,000 to support the 2025 General Municipal Election. Funding will be used to create a public awareness campaign, develop an election tool kit for interested communities and offer voluntary training for municipal election officials.
