Selling NL as a wind energy destination
Upwards of 20,000 people attended the World Hydrogen Summit in the Netherlands, which wrapped up yesterday, including a delegation from this province. Energy Minister Andrew Parsons was there selling the province as a destination for wind energy projects. He says that number was over double what was expected and many people wanted to know more about NL and he was approached by people from Italy and Asia. a delegation of 75 people also attended from NL, including the Port of Corner Brook., Port aux Basques, and the Qalipu Nation. The province signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Rotterdam this week, which is the country’s second largest city and has the largest port in Europe.
