The city Corner Brook is still waiting for the keys to the new recreation centre. Mayor Jim Parsons says there are still a few more things to get right but it’s getting close. He says once they get the keys it will take a number of weeks to opening day. Parsons says they would know within a week when they will get the keys to the new facility. It includes a pool, gymnasium, fitness centre, multi purpose area, daycare, and more. Grenfell Campus has partnered with the city on the project.
