Newfoundland Power is accepting grant proposals for Envirofest 2024. These annual grants encourage sustainability and action by groups or organizations with their environmentally friendly projects. Whether it’s improvements to a park area, enhancements to a trail system, starting a recycling program or transforming green space, Envirofest can help. Newfoundland Power has been hosting Envirofest activities for the past 25 years. Proposals must be submitted by 4 p.m. April 12th with successful applicants announced April 22nd. Five grants of up to $6,000 will be awarded.
