On Bayfm with Lenny Benoit this morning, Mayor Jim Parsons thanked everyone for their patience.

It was a project that was necessary to handle the new hospital but after two years of construction  work, Mt. Bernard Avenue is now open to motorists. On Bayfm with Lenny Benoit this morning, Mayor Jim Parsons thanked everyone for their patience. He says the next big event, the Deep Gulch Project is practically across the road and preparations are underway. Parsons says there will be a time when O’Connell Drive will have to be closed but it will be during the weekend. Work is currently being done in the area where water comes out of Corner Brook stream and will slowly move up the stream.
