Marble Mountain is getting $1 million dollars from the 2024-25 budget for upgrades. Finance Minister Siobhan Coady made the announcement in the House of Assembly yesterday. Meanwhile, Corner Brook MHA Gerry Byrne says Marble Mountain will use this additional money to help upgrade its aging infrastructure to put it up for sale. Marble Mountain opened with one trail during 1961.

BOISAR uses new drone to pinpoint the location of lost hikers near Corner Brook
Using the thermal imaging camera, members quickly marked the lost pair’s location with GPS, and after a short hike into the woods, they guided them back to safety.
